Join the City of Yonkers and Ecoventions for the first annual Yonkers Green Business Summit on June 30, 2009 at The Riverfront Library. We invite businesses in Yonkers to embrace the new emerging green economy by engaging in a dialogue on how to implement sustainable initiatives, cost saving opportunities and green collar jobs.

Participants will learn how to identify Attainable, Measurable, Sustainable tools that are easy to implement, affordable ways to green your business, monitor and track your efforts and report back to your customers. The summit will give you an opportunity to network with like-minded participants who know how to engage Yonkers’ economic, social and environmental landscapes to grow their businesses and their lives. Proceeds from the summit will benefit the Yonkers Partners in Education.

The summit will conclude with a Wine & Cheese reception hosted by The Green Policy Task Force aboard the Groundwork Hudson Valley Science Barge from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
